For rough surf, use pyramid weights in the 6- 8 oz range for lighter surf conditions a 2 to 4 ounce wight will suffice. I prefer to use a hook size of 3/0 for Bluefish here in Florida. To make the rig, simply thread your line through the plastic collar of the slide, and tie to the swivel end of the snell. Attach the sinker to the snap, bait hook with a chunk of cut mullet, and cast into nearest ocean.
