Wind Surfing the Space Coast
The Space Coast runs north to south for about 70 miles and through its entire length runs the Indian River Lagoon. Also contained within the Space Coast and connected to the Indian River Lagoon is the Banana River. Both of these are wide open water bodies surrounded by an open low lying topography, providing full exposure to prevailing wind conditions coming primarily off the ocean and also great windsurfing conditions. There are also about 70 miles of Atlantic Beachfront and numerous access points. Refer to the Surfing page for these locations.
